Challenge #2: Small Practices

Every once in awhile we’ll give a little challenge for new dancers. (Think of it as fun homework.)

2. Make time to practice for fifteen minutes, three times this week.

Put on some music.
If you are alone and a follower, go over your footwork in place.
If you are alone and a leader, mime through the moves thinking of moving your body through the figures.
If you have no floor space, look over your notes (or your memories of things your teachers said) and watch YouTube swing dancing videos looking at other dancers and comparing what they do to your notes.
